we had the sigma-T math tests. We had singing with jayne, and rehearsed the songs without the words. We also had german with Sigrid and learned about laying the table.
Wednesday
4th, 5th and 6th class did the second part of the sigma-t tests. We suffered a lot. 6th class had fun doing drama with amy hill and afterwards we did the stay safe programme and learned more about bullying.
Thursday
We went to the Pedigree Day petting farm and saw alpacas, calves, sheep, donkeys, chickens, horses and a blacksmith. Then, we went to see the exhibitions in the museum and we went swimming as usual. The junior classroom had a great session of Aistear this week. The theme was ‘the farm’ following their visit to pedigree day.
Pedigree Day
Friday
Jessie completed her target and earned us a board Game called Elefun. Like always, we did recorder/guitar/ukulele with Maggie and practiced the songs we’re doing for the end of year ceremony.
The answer to last week’s riddle: chickens can’t speak English!
This week’s riddle: what has no ears, nose or mouth, but has one eye, however, it can’t see! what is it?
Have a lovely weekend!
