Today we reaped what we sowed! We harvested our abundant school vegetable garden. Pupils plucked fresh peas in their pods, pulled up heads of lettuces, white onions, baby carrots, cress and salad leaves. The highlight was digging up our healthy crop of potatoes!!! This was a fantastic learning journey for pupils to learn how to grow their own food from seed and I hope all their families are enjoying a healthy salad for dinner this evening 🥬😁 We also have three lucky pupils taking home a tall tomato plant each to enjoy delicious tomatoes over the holidays. 🍅🙌
