Our senior room are currently partaking in the GLOBE Ireland River Ecosystem Campaign. Only 70 schools from around Ireland were chosen for this campaign. We are assessing the health of our local river, the river Suir. We are integrating science and geography by collecting information about the river's water temperature, PH level, nitrate level and phosphate level. We are also examining the invertebrates and insects that are residing in the river Suir. All of our data will be collated and analysed by Dublin City University and uploaded onto the GLOBE Ireland app. We are very excited to compare our data with other schools around the country!
