We had plenty of activities in May when Art classes started in the school while all other classes continued. We had a Gardening Day and children put up bird feeders on our Bay Tree at the front of the school. We still have Alia coming daily for Maths and she helps in the Junior room on Fridays. Alia is a great addition to our school for all the children as she is a past pupil taking a year out after her Leaving Cert. Swimming classes are every Thursday for this term and the children really enjoyed Pedigree day last week organised by Clonmel Show. We also visited the library. We have pictures hereunder to show all.
This is a short term this year so we will have school tours, Diocesan Service and End of Year Ceremony in the coming weeks as we did farewell to our six Sixth Class pupils. The weather is favourable so we will have another Gardening Day shortly and appreciate all the help from parents who come to help us. We also had WOW day last week when we walked to school from Dunnes Oakville and the Park Hotel. So a busy last term and more to come…
