Welcome to Ms. Hogan's Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First and Second classes.

We take a fun-filled, play-oriented approach to learning. Through the Aistear framework, we encourage children to learn through play and hands-on learning. This helps children to learn through exploration and socialise with each other in a pressure-free environment. There is always a big emphasis on kindness, friendship and teamwork in our classroom. We pride ourselves on providing precision teaching in small groups, focusing on the strengths and needs of each group. We spend lots of time working together in groups, learning to co-operate, collaborate and be team players.

We are also a very active school and this starts from the moment your child joins us. We encourage children to get out and get moving every day. Staying active is one of the most important ways to develop your child's physical, emotional and social well being.

We aim to promote your child's burgeoning independence, cooperation and a growth mindset in this classroom along with a love for learning and a curiosity in the world around them.
