JUNE 2017

A busy final term

A busy last term

We concluded the term with a great trip to Cabragh Wet Lands. Many parents travelled with us and you can see from the photos in the gallery  that we got to partake in many activities. The barn owl in this picture is not alive! We also were invited by the museum to their Pedigree Day . It was amazing to see all the farm animals but also to see how butter used to be made and how wool was spun into yarn.

The Senior classroom went on a Biodiversity trail to the River Suir and the Junior classroom spent a happy hour in  in the Clonmel Playground before a swim in the Swimming Pool.

On the last week of term Mrs. Everard kindly brought in her Sheltland pony, Bilberry who co-operated very nicely while the children groomed him and learnt all about his care. Every child got a pony ride. It was a first for many of the children.

The final trip was the Senior tour to Tramore .

The day began with a biodiversity talk at the beach and ended with great fun in Splash World. Of course in between all the activities ,there was the End of Year Ceremony, the Diocesan service in Lismore, all our school texts were completed and anticipation generated for the coming year. Roll on!
