Thisweek we had a lovely celebration. The apple jelly was made by Mrs. Hunter and each of us was given a small jar full to take home to our families.
Mr. Hunter prepared a photo collage of all the biodiversity activities in which we have been involved so far. He also made a poster of the circle of life of the crab apple tree and showed us how the bees are so important for pollinating the apple trees.
We finished our celebration by eating scones and crab apple jelly. It was delicious. We had fruit bread and chocolate krispies made by Mrs. MacLaughlin and apples pieces with warm caramel sauce brought in by Mrs. Conlon.
Wehad a great time.
